Terms & Conditions

Welcome to OpenMint Technologies Inc. ("OpenMint", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services, including the OpenMint crypto wallet, OpenMint Card, mobile app, website, and any related tools or features ("Services"). By accessing or using OpenMint, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using our Services immediately.

To use OpenMint, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable law. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that all the information you provide is accurate and complete.

OpenMint provides a non-custodial crypto wallet that enables you to store, send, and receive supported cryptocurrencies. We also offer the OpenMint Card, a crypto-linked card that allows you to make purchases by converting crypto to fiat currency at the time of the transaction. Please note that OpenMint does not store your private keys or have access to your funds—your wallet is fully under your control. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase, private keys, and all wallet credentials. Losing these may result in the permanent loss of access to your assets, and OpenMint cannot recover them.

To access certain features, such as the OpenMint Card, you must create an account and complete identity verification (KYC), especially where required by financial regulations. You agree to keep your information accurate and to maintain the security of your account. Any activity performed through your account will be considered your responsibility.

When you use the OpenMint Card, you agree to the additional terms outlined by our issuing partner(s). Card availability and eligibility are subject to regional limitations and issuer approval. All fees related to card issuance, crypto-fiat conversions, or transaction costs (including blockchain network fees) will be displayed transparently on the platform.

You agree not to use OpenMint for any illegal, unauthorized, or prohibited activities. This includes, but is not limited to, money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion, phishing, or the violation of intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to OpenMint at any time if we detect or suspect misuse.

Please be aware that cryptocurrency markets are volatile. You understand and accept the risks involved, including market fluctuations, irreversible transactions, regulatory uncertainty, and potential loss of value. You use OpenMint entirely at your own risk.

Some features on OpenMint may involve third-party service providers, including but not limited to identity verification, payment processing, or cloud infrastructure services. We do not control or assume responsibility for these external services, which may be governed by their own terms and conditions.
All content on the OpenMint platform—including branding, logos, designs, and technology—is owned or licensed by OpenMint. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our Services without express written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OpenMint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the Services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of funds, data, or access due to user error, system outages, hacks, or changes in market conditions.

You may stop using OpenMint at any time by discontinuing use of the app and deleting your account, where applicable. We also reserve the right to suspend or permanently disable your access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in law, services, or operations. Any updates will be communicated via email, in-app notification, or on our website. Continued use of OpenMint after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
